Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Train the Trainer Courses Now Available

Across the Cwm Taf Morgannwg region, VAWDASV Ask and Act training groups 2 and 3 are delivered by a consortium of professionals who have attended train the trainer courses .

Additional trainers are now being recruited to strengthen the regions ability to deliver these courses, which are viewed as an essential component of Safeguarding activity. 

Would you like to train as an Ask and Act Group 2 trainer? 

Group 2 trainers enable staff to

• recognise the indicators of VAWDASV
• feel comfortable in asking questions about VAWDASV
• Know where to access specialist advice

 Ask and Act group 2 training is available on the dates below:

Would you like to train as an Ask and Act  group 3 trainer? 

Group 3 trainers enable staff who regularly encounter VAWDASV to become a resource/champion for their team

Group 3 training helps individuals to:

• Support colleagues to make difficult decisions
• Support families affected by VAWDASV
• Know when to refer to specialist VAWDASV professionals

 Ask and Act group 3 training is available on the dates below
