The Cwm Taf Morgannwg Safeguarding Board is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, which can be found by visiting www.ctmsb.co.uk.
The Safeguarding Board is a statutory partnership made up of the agencies that are responsible for safeguarding children and adults at risk in RCT, Merthyr Tydfil and Bridgend. The Board ensures that people of all ages, living in the region, are protected from abuse, neglect or other kinds of harm.
With a clear, user friendly layout and the introduction of a search facility, users will be able to navigate throughout the site with ease.
The new site is aimed at both professionals and the public and has sections for children and young people, adults, parents and carers.
A members’ log-in section provides a secure and confidential area, offering quick and easy access to essential safeguarding information for Board members.
The website will be updated on a regular basis with news, events, training, policies, guidance and information on a wide variety of safeguarding issues, making the website – www.ctmsb.co.uk - the go-to place for safeguarding in the region.
Abuse comes in many forms, including physical, emotional, sexual and financial. Neglect is a failure to meet a person’s basic needs.
