Research into young LGBTQ+ people and homelessness

Research is currently being carried out on behalf of Llamau and the Cwm Taf Regional Housing Partnership, into the need for specialist supported accommodation for LGBTQ+ young people who are homeless in the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) area, South Wales.

The researchers are interested in your experiences as practitioners as well as capturing the needs and ideas of LGBTQ+ young people that you support in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Please follow the links below to complete the online survey and register your interest in attending an online focus group being held between January – March 2022.

Practitioner survey – https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/752GMTR

LGBTQ+ young people’s survey – https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/V6JNFM9

Young people’s views are vital to this research, therefore, as a thank you for taking part, young people are being offered an e-voucher for their participation. A separate link is embedded at the end of the young person’s survey for them to share their email address for the researchers to get in touch about the voucher.

Young people’s personal details will not be used to identify their individual responses which will be recorded and stored anonymously by RNC on behalf of Llamau and the Cwm Taf Regional Housing Partnership and in line with all organisations’ commitment to equality outcomes and LGBTQ+ inclusion.
