Welsh Sexual Assault Services Conference 2023

‘A Sexual Assault survivor’s journey: Pathways to recovery’

The Welsh Sexual Assault Services (WSAS) Programme invites you to our annual Conference 2023 which has been themed around the victim and survivor pathway through our services. 

The event aims are to: 

  • Provide an update on the latest developments for the WSAS programme and an overview of the future plans. 
  • Share ‘best practices’ for sexual assault services across Wales 
  • Provide insight into the different pathways victims and survivors can follow and the services involved at each stage 

Who can attend: All professionals working in an environment where a sexual assault could be disclosed. Such as NHS medical (consultants, forensic medical examiners, and nurses) and non-medical staff, police, social workers, Independent Sexual Violence Advisors, crisis workers, criminal justice prosecutors and academic researchers from statutory, public, and third-sector organisations across Wales.
