The Sustainable Whole System Approach workstream is committed to reviewing existing processes and guidance for needs assessments, strategic planning, and procurement to ensure delivery of sustainable and equitable service provision across Wales.
We want a whole system approach where service provision is informed by comprehensive, multi-agency needs assessments; where commissioning and procurement processes are transparent, robust and provide assurance to service providers; where regional partnership structures are aligned to support strategic planning; and where statutory and specialist services are integrated effectively to provide clear referral pathways and deliver the best outcomes for victims and survivors.
Following the recent survey we undertook; we have scheduled a series of workshops which aim to explore some of the issues raised by the survey in more depth. The workshops will provide an opportunity for representatives from across the many sectors engaged in VAWDASV to work together to inform statutory guidance which will be issued to the sector in due course.
