National Safeguarding Week 2024

Safeguarding involves both the protection of children and adults at risk from abuse, neglect or other kinds of harm and preventing them from becoming at risk of abuse, neglect or other kinds of harm.

Safeguarding Week is a national campaign that is held every year for a week during November - this year it's from 11th - 15th, with the aim of raising awareness and providing training on safeguarding issues. 

The week-long programme of activities are aimed at professionals, children and young people, parents and carers and the community.
